The workshop will take place online over four weeks, from June 1 to June 28, 2023. Each week, you will participate in synchronous and asynchronous activities, such as webinars, discussions, assignments and feedback sessions. You will also have access to a variety of resources and materials that you can use in your own teaching context.
The workshop will cover topics such as: the characteristics and needs of heritage language learners, the principles and practices of heritage language pedagogy, the development of curriculum and assessment for heritage language instruction, and the integration of culture and community in heritage language education.
